This is the transmission that has been in the car since I bought it 2 years ago. I was told it was an Art Carr transmission but that's about all I know about it. It has a D5 converter with an old Art Carr sticker on it, I think it may have been a mild re-stall if that, I don't recall it being more than 2200-2400rpm. It has a brand new alto 2 3/8in band in it that I put in there last year when the anchor pin hole elongated. The only thing I know that I've had a problem with is that it flares on the 2-3 shift at PART throttle. At WOT it has always shifted hard and firm on all shifts. Check the video below, first shift is the FIRM 1-2 shift at part throttle, followed by a part throttle 2-3 showing the flare, then I get right back in it at WOT for the 2-3 shift again.
