Astro roof issues ?

What were the common issues with astro roof cars. We're they prone to rusting out in the roof like a lot of the t top g bodies ? What would be some good or bad signs to look to when looking at a astro roof car, I'm sure the seller isn't going to be willing to pull the headliner down. Thanks

They can leak, but will rust out the floors not the roof usually.

Look for wet carpet and backing under the four corners of the roof and look under the car for any signs of rust through.

Make sure the vent rubber tubes exit in the A pillars and in the trunk fenderwell areas and are free to drain properly.

Make sure the seal around the glass is good. It will leak into the roof if not. And rust. You can open it and feel the front inside for rust.
