I need to find the easiest way to remove the slider so I can fix the droopy headliner material on the slider.

Astro Roof Removal.

I Installed A Complete Astro Roof Assy On My Project "gnx" Clone. I Would Suggest Removing The Entire Headliner, disconnecting The Drain Hoses, romoving The Entire Assy(it Is Very Heavy) 2 Men Make It Easier. Once Out You Can Remove A Few Screws, pull Back On A Few Tabs And Pull The Slider From The Housing. I Don't Thing I Forgot Anything.( A Year Or So Since I Removed Mine) While Out,blow Air Through The Hoses T Omake Sure They Are Open.:)

Astro Roof Headliner.

Turbo Steve, I Noticed Below That In "similar Subjects" There Is Complete Directions On How To Get The Cover Out Without Removing The Whole Assy. Directions Seem Straight Foward,my Whole Assy Is Already Out,due To Replacing The Entire Roof Skin. The Nice Part Is That Having It Completly Out I Am Able To Clean, lube All The Cables And Tracks.. Depending On The Mileage And Condition,it May Not Be Necesssary For Complete R&i On Yours. The Directions Say To Tape The Entire Area Around The Opening To Avoid Scratching The Paint. I Think The Directions Show How To "sneek" The Cover Out..hope This Helps..
