ATR 3" Xflow exhaust

Anyone that has it happen to have a pic of the muff? I just put mine on, this f*cker is LOUD. I had it on my 86 GN which was over a year ago, closer to 2 and it was NO WHERE near as loud. They must have changed the design of their mufflers for sure! Anyone got a pic of this muffler from you system, and when did ya buy it?

All I remember is mine said ATR pitbull muffler on it, crossflow system I bought used and in mint condition.

Prolly 2 years old or so.

Mine sounds good on the GN.

Actually, correct me if I'm wrong...your muffler is crimped right? as in the metal is kind of rolled and crimped at the seam...

you two crack me up. Joe, savagev6 has YOUR old cross flow exhaust. I sold it to him about 9 months ago. It wasnt loud, some drone but nothing bad. But then again every motor is diff. I also had heads and cam on it.

I was actually going to ask you that when I saw you on IRC tonight ralph!! LOL Do you recall looking at the muff whether it was crimped or welded?? I Know this muff I have is a different style and not the xflow..cuz it's LOUD as a Motha!!

if I rememebr cporrectly it had a long crimp , like the metal was folded. thats all I remmeber.

Wow that exhaust system has been around eh?

Looked like a one owner system to me.

I can go look for ya since I have to drive that car.

It is louder and deeper than my other car with the Kenne-Bell dual 2.5" stainless system with the stainless ultraflows on it.

Don't drone too bad though.

I could take a pic of the dual muffs but that prob won't help. A buddy of my put the crossflow setup on his car and it is just as loud as my 3" dual (well pretty close he may be a tad quieter).

Yup, drive it every day. With the exhaust on, its about as loud as my 10 sec GN with open exhaust. I have the ATR 3" single shot to quiet things down on the GN. GHL Exhaust on the Z06
