Does anyone have any pics of ATR headers? I came across a set of headers and Im not sure if they are ATR or not. I know they aren't Hooker Headers either.

Also, on these headers where the bolts go, there is a little "slit" on each bolt hole. Its hard to explain but its almost like a crescent moon that almost touches at the points. It seems to me that if you tighten the bolts that the gap will open up more. All the bolt holes have the same slit. Is this OK?

ATR headers use v-band clamps to attach the crossover tube. They will only work with the crossover that comes with them. The bolt holes on my headers do not have any slots. If these headers have a flange for bolt on crossover they are not ATR.

Sounds like Kenne Bell headers. They look like ATR's. I think the primaries are smaller. They have blanchard slits in the bolt holes. Supposedly helps prevent warping.

Maybe thats what they are. Are the Kenne Bell headers any good? Better than stock? I am shooting for mid 10s this year.

Stock headers are good to mid-10's. Spend the money elsewhere.

Well the thing is it wouldnt cost me anything. I basically got em for free. I guess I shoulda mentioned that in the first post. If there is not an advantage over stock, then I wont use them.

It will depend on how fast you're running. If you're tickling the 10s, headers will help. If not, then - not

Let me know if you might be interested in selling them. I might know someone who could use them

Yep the stock headers work great AFTER they've been welded, gusseted and ported.Use the KBs if they are free, but I have heard of problems mounting popular 3" downpipes with them.

I am assuming they are stainless, so yes they will help. They will help you from having to keep on taking the stock header off to have the cracks rewelded, and they will look nicer.
