ALLUJA, Iraq, March 31 — An enraged mob attacked four American contractors here today, shooting them to death, burning their vehicles, dragging their bodies through the downtown streets and then hanging the charred corpses from a bridge over the Euphrates River.

I don't have any ideologies or religious beliefs other than 1: If you f*** with me and mine you're in a lot of trouble, and 2: (Unfortunately) it is the duty of the stronger more fortunate man to help protect those who are unable to protect themselves. I'll not suggest genocide, but SOMETHING must be done about a corner of the world that has refused to evolve for thousands of years and has written one book after another making it clear that they are going to be the rest of the world's 'noisy neighbor' until the end of time. My own little brother, who obviously I love to death, just got back from over there and I couldn't be more proud of him......most importantly, he'd love to go back because he truly is proud to be an American. You, on the other hand, may as well go and spit on the few thousand graves (or lack thereof) of all of those who died on 9/11 because, I know that the only way that I would be able to lay silent in my casket were I one of them is if SOMEBODY cared enough to react to my murder. If he were tried on Pan Am 103, he would likely be aquitted. He definitely wouldn't be shot, because the world court (and John Kerry) are against the death penalty. If I had the choice between Libya as a non-violent friend and Libya as an enemy with WMD's, I'll take the Friend, thanks.

Good point, but how many Americans need to die in order for these people to realise your point? For me, 1 dead coalition soldier from a car bomb is too much. At least in Viet Nam, the casualties were usually involved in combat with a known enemy.
The thought of a few marines driving along on patrol and getting incinerated in there Humvee makes me wonder if thier pissant little country is worth the effort, and lives.
