The drones are an excellent advancement in technology for warfare and would have been an excellent tool in ridding the earth of some of the highest profile terrorist leaders, too bad they didn't use them earlier.....
or we could have done like the last brilliant administration and just blindly lauched a few Tomahawk missiles in the general direction of the enemy...the current administration owes an apology to no one, the freed Iraqis owes the U.S. a Thank You per the article sited by Mac above...of course that is not sensational news so its not publicized.
In fact, maybe the Clinton administration owes us an apology since they didn't kill Bin Laden when they had the chance!

"So in the past 30 years, which President has done a good job in your opinion?"

Nixon, the best until he let his paranoia take over

Ford, to much of a wuss...weak foreign policy

Reagan, an actor not a president, almost bankrupted this country!

Carter, could have been one of the greatest! he's done more good since stepping down

Bush1, same as bush2..........not good for this country

Clinton, alias slick willie..If he would have kept it in his pants he would have been remembered as a good prez.

I would have to pick Nixon as the best of these...

"WE NEED TO DO BETTER"

eliminate electoral college
eliminate special interest groups
term limits
make politicians pay into social security

The Tomahawks were sattelite guided, so much for "blindly" launching a Tomahawk.
60 missles, 6 sites.
My point being is they didn't hit their target they were intending, in fact, that same article quotes "one official familiar with the damage assessments said up to 20 percent of the missiles appeared to have had what he termed disappointing results."
Not certain of the cost of those missiles, but I'm sure its over 1 mil per, so thats $60M with little results but a destoyed training facility and they were still able to caryy out 9/11 just a few short years later and claim more lives than Pearl Harbor of WWII.

So that means 80% hit what they wanted and did damage. All depends on how you look at it:D
