Taking a look at my windows before I install the black out trim again, I notice that a bunch of the clips that hold in the trim are missing and on one side they are completely gone. Does any one have any ideas on how to attach the trim not using the clips? Can I use an epoxy or black RTV or something? Has anyone run into this before?
TIA

Thanks guys, you guys rule.
But here's another twist. My a-pillar (DS) has been replaced because of an accident. No posts/rivets exist top attach the "new" clips to this side. The window is already in place. How am I supposed to get these clips attached when I can't get a drill or anything in this area with the windshield installed. Any ideas on this one.

You'll have to pull the windshield. It's the only way I know to do it.
You can use rivets or screws to attach the new clips BUT, make sure to use some sealer. (drill hole, gob on some sealer in the hole, then put in the rivet or screw) If you don't, you will get a very ugly water leak.

That is exactly what I didn't want to hear, but I guess to do it right it must be done.
Thanks again!!!!!! You guys are a huge help.

Bill.........in that event, a-pillar replacement with no rivets, that's a short moulding. If you don't want to remove the windshield (I wouldn't want to), two or three small dabs of silicone glue will hold it in place and allow you to ease it off if you need to. Don't put a lot or the moulding will be bent upon removal.
