first thanks for the reply to my previous post.
Concerning the oil down of the o2 sensor, is there
a way to clean the sensor if it still reading okay but
really nasty looking?

I've never been a big fan of cleaning the sensor with any type of chemical. You can wipe off the outside of it if it's got a ton of crap on it, but I wouldn't spray anything on my own sensor and therefore wouldn't recommend that anyone else would either.

Once you have the engine running right the sensor should keep itself clean.
