hey im the kid who was bothering you all day at work trying to get me valve body kit in....sorry for so many calls but i wanted to be 100% with everything....i didnt even get to finish today i need to get that pressure switch so hopefully ill have everything together by the end of the week....thanks again you went above of what was expected of you....A+++++ for PTS

PS: there was already a shift kit installed in the car...when i got that valve out of the VB that i called you about there was a little metal tag inside the spring that said ShiftKit Patent No. xxxxxx i dont know what kind of kit it was but it did not shift firm at all...i could barely feel it....

UH OH!

It appears you have had the TransGo kit installed.

If so you're going to need more than phone help. It comes in two forms. When you look up towards the back of the trannie can you see a gold-colored plate that looks like a fish tail?

TransGo makes kits for practically every trannie and all in all their products are good but for some unknown reason the one for the 2004R really missed the mark. In fact "Shift Kit" is their trademark and they own the patnent for the chrome-moly pump rings.

that fishtail tihng is towards the front of the tranny on mine and its to the left(when looking up from under the car) of the 2 Acc. spring housing....i dont know if anything else is messed up on it but i followed the directions for the PTS kit to the T and hopefully I undid anything the Transgo kit did...if not I may be in some serious sh!t just my luck

Your 2004R has been assimlated. I just sent one out to PTS with the same issue. As far as I know they are the only ones that can help you get the nanoprobes out. Good Luck!

oh and that fish tail thing is at the rear and it says this " No Yo Yo Guppy" Reverse Fix Pat Pending Gil Thompson" or something like that? im taking a picture now...pic up by 8pm so you know what im talking about

If it`s just the correction kit it`s easy to undo. No major mods at all. Just vb springs.
