Whats the easiest way to remove a tight fitting handlebar grip that isn't even close to starting to slide off. Heat? Any help appreciated.

razor blade to cut it straight down the bar, should peel most of it off, chances are grip glue was used, WD 40 works good to clean the rest up

Actually its a new one that I just replaced, but now I have to replace the headlight switch, so i'm hoping to still use it. Thanks

i got one off once using wd40 insert that long red tube in between the grip and bar and just keep spraying and working it around.
