I was going to leave him alone, but he did a rolling stop fly by on me when a light I was sitting at went from red to green.

Up ahead was another red light....so I casually got into it in order to ensure a line up, and also to make sure he knew he had company.

He stopped a few feet back from the line, and I was right up on it with my wheels. I could feel the old fart looking my Buick over...

Before the light went green he started rolling forward to time it...I just stayed put and waited....I knew I could smoke him.

Green light....I roll into it as he takes off...with this new Precision 6265DBB turbo...rolling into it is required....cuz the street radials still break loose and haze for a good distance even when rolling into the WOT spot.

I blew right around the thing and then just left it wagging around in my wake.
I could see the guys face in my drivers side view mirror...he didn't even know what just hit him.
Twin turbo V8 gets bounced by a single turbo V6.

A mile or so up the road, I was sitting at another red as he rolled up. He stopped short again.....but when the light went green....he accelerated nice and polite.

Back in business!

well i see the chicken coupe is back on the killing spree!!!!!! are we gona see the coupe at the next pizza cruz?

The 2009 Audi RS6 has about 580 horsepower and costs about $157K. Walking that guy must have left him shaking his head and asking himself how that just happened. After you two politely parted ways, maybe he slowly cruised over the dealership and told them to take their **** car back. Then I'm guessing he went out to buy a turbo Buick and save himself $140K.

Yup.:D
As long as I don't hurt nothing or get put on lock down again...

You made me look up their specs.;)

Yet they can't hit 60 in less than 4.5 seconds or do a 1/4 in less than 12.8...
They must be heavy as a Hummer!

I was doing 11.6s with my old turbo...and the coupe feels a lot stronger with this DBB 6265.

I gotta wonder how the Chicken keeps his license intact;) South County LEO's are always looking for speed contest perpetrators. I'm not saying I'm not guilty of some spirited acceleration runs but crickey it sounds like you have another kill every week:biggrin:

Alan

I often wonder the same thing.
Before I turned 18 (back in 1981) I had 13 tickets and seven accidents on my record...one of them was a reckless driving ticket for a speed contest. My license was only suspended once through all of that.

Since then....about every 2 -2.5 years, I get another ticket...usually for speeding. Three of my last four tickets have been on my commute through Santiago Canyon road... and 2 of those were from the same cycle cop sporting a porn star mustache.

That said...I'm actually a pretty safe driver even when acting stupid.
I never race through traffic or where there are pedestrians....only clear roads and good visibility.....no side streets...no blowing through intersections.

I also have an above average sensory awareness and know all the local speed traps...

I also don't normally run things out. As soon as the kill is clear...I let out and slow it down.

Still a risk....and I should know better at my age...but....I might be addicted...

I have had two local cops who spied me lighting my tires off, pull me over and then let me go after a conversation and warning.

Lou says I have God on my side...
...cuz I am a Jesus loving, prayin' man...

Good to see you back Chicken! This section was getting very slow with your car down :D

Nice kill, Chicken.

How do you like your new 6265BB? I see you're running the TH down pipe. Did you have to do any porting of the WG hole?

I did port the WG hole out to a little over 1.1" and also removed some material from inside the housing to make the transition to the WG hole better.

I'm liking the 6265....a lot.

I have not put my RJC boost controller back on yet because I still see a little boost spike and creep, so I need to do some more porting. I'm letting the shadow of the WG puck get good and clear on the housing so I have a good guide and can max the porting without going too far.

Finally! I was wondering when you would return. Yeah, I've been eyeing a dbb turbo for my next major upgrade. How does the 6265 pull? I'm running a te45a and the consensus seems to be they wake up on the top end. I'm looking for that strong constant pull. 6265 seems to be doing the job though. An RS6? That's awesome.

Chicken is back on the prowl! My life has meaning again!

Good kill and they are very heavy I work for a VW/Audi dealer and the Beetle weights almost as much as a GN the RS6 is like 4200 pounds i think

I'm liking the 6265 a lot.

After talking with Patrick at Precision, I went with the 6265 over the 6262. He said the 6262 would be more of a tire roaster....
I don't want to just roast tires....I wanna roast whatever I'm up against....

It woke the GN up from bottom to top end and pulls noticeably harder through out.

I'll be going to the track again this spring to see what I can do for an ET...but I'm confident it will be well below 11.5.
...just hope my tranny holds out till then...

Next upgrade will be a better FMIC. That's my major restriction right now.

Makes sense why with all that power, it can't get out of it's own way then.

They can't brake boost either when hitting the gas and brake at the same time it kills power to the engine

I have a Precision front mount I am going to be selling if none of my club members want it...I'll let u know....that will make that 6265 smile

Nice kill. There are some modded RS6's out there that are pretty quick, but a stock one is no match for a modded GN
