I have a electric Water Temp and oil pressure gauges to hook up. I'm looking at the instructions for the water temp gauge, and it says, "Install Temperature Sender (included)". ummmm where do I install the temp sender? How? All they say is to do it.

Same deal with oil pressure, how the heck do I hook this up?

the water temp sender is directly to the left of the t-stat. you'll see it if u look in that general area.

the oil pressure sender is just north of the filter. it has a big plugin and is a big socket to get it off. take it off and just run the autometer send in there. tell me if u need more info HTH

To the left? Which left. Gotta be careful and more specific. There is a temp sensor on each side of the thermostat and removing the wrong one will remove the ECM's ability to see coolant temp (NOT GOOD).

The Sensor to replace is the idiot light sensor that is on the passenger side of the thermostat. It has one wire hooked to it.

Replacing the sensor on the driver's side of the thermostate with two wires hooked to it is not the thing to do.

There is also another option for the sensor. Down on the side of the block just rearward of the motor mount (dirver's side is easiest) is a plug in the side of the block (1/8 NPT I think) that can be removed for a sensor.

The gauge manufacturers know that these gauges are made for virtually any application, and cant possibly tell everybody how to install them in the thousands of different appications there are. It's up to the owner to install them wherever they desire.

If you haven't done a gauge install before, it's not a job for the faint of heart. Especially the oil pressure sender!!! You're going to have to get a special fitting to mount the sender along side of the stock sender that's already there, which is also where the oil feed line to the turbo is affixed  This isn't going to be easy!
