axel question

I have a standard regal I'm working on (7.5 \ 26 spline) & I already have a 28 spline 7.5 posi from a late model camaro I had...my question is will stock 28 spline axels from a turbo regal with the 8.5 rear fit in the 7.5 housing using the 28 spline 7.5 carrier??...are the axel bearing the same , is there anything I would have to modify....any help on this would be greatly appreciated....and if so if anyone has some stock axels for sale please hit me up
