Street Meet” at Speedworld Dragstrip continues Saturday August 20th & runs every other Saturday night. Open to any and all vehicles, it's just as much a social gathering as it is a test of personal driver skill & vehicle performance. Music & various car related activities will enhance the fun for everyone.
For drivers that have never enjoyed the thrill of running their car, truck, or motorcycle all out down the drag strip, “Street Meet” is a great place to try it. Anyone that’s ever wanted to beat the car next to them across an intersection (on a green light) needs to come out to the drag strip and do this!!
First time racers are encouraged to attend Drag Racing 101, a FREE 15 minute tutorial with simple explanation & instruction regarding procedures, etiquette & what to expect before, during and after a race down the track.
Gates open for “Street Meet”@ 8 pm and racers are offered unlimited runs down the track until 1 am. ENTER VIA THE SMOOTH ASPHALT ON JOMAX ROAD!
$20 for racers $10 for spectators
