ok guys, I know yall hate these questions (sorry my first Gn) I bought a 86 T Type that hasn't ran in 3 or 4 years this car is bone stock with 89,000 mile's ,I changed the fuel pump & filter with a stock replacement & got it to run about a month ago but havn't touched it since.( time to start) It idle's ok but when you give it gas it won't take it. it's like it's choking it out. My ? is where to start, what to check, & if it can be checked with a meter what should it read, also whats a good plug to run.any info. would be very helpful thanks

my car sat for 3-4 years and I did everything in my signature to get it running right.

Might not need to take it that far, but here's a list of my problems after the start.

bad MAF
bad fuel pump
irregular PSI from regulator
bad injectors
weak ground points
bad alt
dead battery
all vacuum hoses cracked
bad IAC

I would get a scan tool, winaldl is free ,you just need a laptop and a cable.

good luck

Where in Alabama do you live? May be able to get a few guys to try and help you out.
