Will scanmaster 2.1 tell you if you have a bad maf? If so, what reading should i look for?

NAL 33, 34, or 36

Or MAL, never could read first letter. The last field before you rollback over to starting position. It'll display any engine codes. Also, if you lightly knock on it at idle and it causes your engine to stumble, then it's bad. Have you tried unplugging it to see if that clears things up? Then bad, again.

To add to above post, if you tap it and there is ANY noticeable change in the idle then it is no good. I had one that was no good and did not code. Unless you have a concours show GN I would just buy Translator and be done with it.

I've never been a fan of the "tap test" It's not conclusive and it can send a MAF over the edge. It should be 7.5 at idle or so 255 14 psi and WOT and the signal should be clean between the two
