bad surge over half thottle

Hey guys i almost have it going now, i changed the jl chip and put a reds 93 chip in today and it runs pretty nice. This is the problem tho , it will build boost very slowto about 5-8 psi and thats all in first and sec gear. When it gets in 3rd gear and i slowly build boost and try to go over half thottle i get real bad knock and it surges bad and i have to let off. Feels nice at 8 psi

I have some ct43 plugs and they dont look to bad but i going to get some new ones today. Iam running a 110-112 mix of cam two from the track for last year , does cam2 go bad in a year or so. I'll try to get some 93 pump gas today also. Iam running 43 psi on fp with the vac off, i tryed to lower it to about 37- 38psi but the same thing.

Well i think i found it, there is a 2.5" spilt in the reducer that comes off the turbo to the intercooler pipe. You would never see it if you did not mover the pipes around.

hope this fixs it.
