bad turbo?

would a bad turbo cause the car to burn oil at idle or just under boost?

Pull off the inlet pipe (or hose) and down pipe then take a look.

What did you find out? I have a similiar problem. Only smokes at idle when warmed up. No smoke when going down the road or when you get on it.

I sent the turbo to P.T.E. They said it was bad seals and a scored shaft. This was allowing the oil to blow thru into the intake.

weird since the seal dont touch the shaft...
