SignUp Now!Birds will go after big stuff like goats and wolves. That's a big bird; maybe mouse pickin's were slim so he decided to "move up the food chain"?
Fake video.
And your proof?.......
Personally the whole shadow thing doesn't do it for me as it's pretty impossible to determine the exact topography of that hill at this distance. The could be a small mound hiding it in the first frame.

BTW, that's a golden eagle not a bald eagle. Big difference in size and looks.
Dont know about the kid, but I have seen a few cats get snatched by the Bald Eagles in our area. They fly over head and you can hear the cats just screeching.
I've seen Golden eagles and Bald eagles close up at wild animal demostrations. The Golden is significantly larger than the Bald. We are actually seeing a comeback of Bald eagles here in NH. They were thought to gone for good here. I've seen 2 local and 2 in the lakes region this year. With their size and wingspan they are very capable of snatching a child, dog, goat, etc. This video was faked but it's certainly possible.
