Bald Eagles

Spied a couple of Bald Eagles while cruising in the GN, those suckers are big

where is your roof on your car??? look at the second photo, you see the pas. side door but no pillar.

I'm guessing it didn't show up in the picture becuase of reflection or something. That's a really cool shot of the birds. Iv'e only ever seen them in pictures let alone happen upon two of them perched on a light post.

Yeah, I think the auto exposure washed out the pillar, but its there!

When I first drove into the park, one of them was on the sidewalk feasting on something.

We have river hawks around here. It's kind of uncomfortalble when they sit up on a cell tower and look down at you like your lunch. Awsome to watch glide in wind though.

Bald Eagles are really neat looking. They have a monument on Elmendorf that has 2 or 3 in a cage. The birds where hurt and unable to fly so they put them in the cage for people to see them and to make the monument more attractive to people i guess. Nice pictures.
