PTS Xtreme Bat Brake Kit <----from the PTS website

This is the famous "Bat Brake" It has low sprag protection built in. Works by holding low clutch , forward clutch and direct clutch on. Releases the direct clutch and leaves in low. Transbrake is solenoid operated and used by the Serious Heaviest of Hitters in the 2004r world! Kit comes with all necassary hardware. Transmission is actually built around this piece. Several modifications are required ,however all modifications are explained and again, We offer our excellent customer service/tech help.It is highly recommended that a Professional Trans Builder installs but the novice could do it with with some focus and time. This piece can reak havic and possible death or injury if not installed correctly. The PTS Xtreme Deep Aluminum Pan is required. Available non lock or lockup. We recommend you send in the VB you want modified and PTS will build and return. We are no longer offering core Vb's unless they are purchased NEW. Brake will work with any VB but one of the performance oriented ones are preferred.

Price: $559.99

Hey, you're always welcome! Glad to be of any help! :)

Turbonatr, here's a Q for you...what did/does Job typically charge for a total TR tune?

TIA! :)

$70.00 (or was it 75?) per hour plus race gas. He uses VP (and hates CAM 2). First, the car comes in the shop and gets the once over by one of his guys to make sure all is OK like zip ties on all vacuum lines, coolant topped off, no leaks anywhere and if need be they weld a bung in your downpipe for his wideband. Then they make sure a sufficient supply of go-go juice is in the tank and it sits outside to warm up. After a few minutes, the man, the myth, the legend, Job (or Job Jr.) walks out with his wideband, laptop and a fire extinguisher (they once watched a 9 second car burn to the ground on the side of the highway once. Ever since then, they take an extinguisher just in case). Once in the car he starts tapping away at the keys immediately. You make your way through town to the highway onramp where you see him buckle his seat belt. This is a good indication that things are about to get scarey. Also a good time to pop on the 5 point harness. For the next hour or so you basically beat the living snot out of your car on this highway. Last time we tuned the car we had my GN to an indicated (by the VSS) 150+mph. A very enlightning experience in a 3600+lb. Buick with no front sway bar, 90/10 front shocks and 50/50 rear shocks. The look on peoples faces as you are next to them doing 60mph and then smoking the tires as Job gives you the sign to squeeze on the throttle.

It's a heart pounding experieince for sure. Last time out, the tune ran around $200 or so.
