Hi,
Can anyone tell me what that insulation is behind the rear seat? It has a hard black layer to it with the soft grey insulation facing the trunk.
Just wondering what it is and if it's replaceable? Or even if there is better product to use?
Thanks!

I'm pretty sure it's used for sound deadening. Not sure if they make a replacement for it.

I would just go to any local junk yard find a regal and take it out of one of them. It's like this heavy black sound deading matt. It kinda hooks on these ears on the body. The gray part faces the trunk like you said.. It weights a ton it seems!

I replaced my missing one with a piece of new gray headliner material between the seat and the braces. Just cut to fit and slits at the top hold it in place from the body's hangers. Lightweight and gives a finished appearance.
