Bench seat backs

Did not know where to ask about interior so.

Just got a low mile 1987 T type and the front bench seats set really reclined (It is called the pimp ride already) and I want to adjust/fix the backs so it sits up right. What is the correct way of doing this ?

Mine did this.... I believe that I tightened some screws in the sides of the swayback and hinges

Did you have to take the seats apart ?

I think I had to remove them out of the car to get to the screws from memory

Resurrecting this because I just got a T with bench seats and I'd like to get the seats to sit up a little more vertical. Any instructions on how to do this?

Just the backs so not reclined so much.
