Bench seat vs Bucket seat mounts

I have a 84 buick regal limited with a bench seat, I just purchased a interior from an 87 T type with bucket seats, will the stock seat mounting locations will work with both bench and buckets, or do I have to cut the mounts out of a car with bucket seats and weld them onto my car?

If it is a full bench seat, then you will probably have to scavenge the mounts. If it is a split bench, then you should be all set.

Do it right and weld in the mounts.
