Background

The guy in the green Volkswagen made better time going around the streets of San Fransico he was always ahead of them and he was just putting along, they passed the same green VW at one point at least twice on the same block/scene. The same cars in alot of the scenes. They must have gone around in circles. Never noticed the great editing great chase scene though.........

iF I HAD TO RATE THIS WAS GOOD BUT THERE WAS SOME OTHERS IN THE 70'S THAT WERE GOOD TOO.

THE 7-UPS MOVIE HAS AN INTENSE 74 VENTURA ala gto LAST MODEL CHASE.

ANOTHER WOULD BE THE 70 ISH LEMANS IN THE FRENCH CONNECTION #1ST MOVIE

VANISHING POINT & THE ORIG GONE IN 60 SECONDS NOT THE STUPID REMAKE

At the time it was the best car chase ever filmed. There are better now.

technical glitches aside Bullitt was ahead of its time mosly for the camera work. Ronin with DeNiro also has a great chase, and Duel with Dennis Weaver is another one!

I always watch the cars in the background. In the Fugitive, Harrison Ford passes the same black Somerset regal twice in the ambulance chase

Bullit was one of the greatest car chases of all time. Look at the ending when the Charger hits the gas station. You can see Charger in the backround go through the station.
