Best flush mount 3.5 front dash speaker

What is a good 3.5 inch dash mount speaker that will drop in and the dash will go over it without hitting the tweeter.

The Polks were on my list but were not sure if they would fit. Thanks.

If you can find these (they've been discontinued), the Alpine SPS-080A will fit perfectly with no mods required.

Get some factory Bose 3.5 inch drivers from a C5 Corvette door speaker cheap. They have no tweeter so its not so bright. Works best with a resistor to tone them down even more so the door speakers can work with them well. Its what I have in my GN.

Pioneers 3.5's will fit fine as well. They are custom designed to fit the Gm cars of this gen. I mounted mine from bottom just to safe and clear of the dash cover. Just put clips on speaker instead of dash and screw em in. the tweeters on this speaker are pretty flush with the rest of the speaker assembly, whereas others are more raised/elevated causing the fitment issues. I believe they are Pioneer 878's. I have never had a problem with these speakers and installed them in two different cars. Sure there may be better sounding, more expensive options, but I am on budget and was concerned about proper fitment. These have filled the bill!
