Hi guys,

I'm after some advice regarding the Buick 3800 motor known as the LN3. I'm currently running a LN3 3800 in a rwd commodore over here in Australia with a turbo hanging off it. Only issue I seem to have is keeping head gaskets in the thing. I'm only running 14psi of boost at the moment which equates to 450hp @ flywheel.

Previously I have been using ACL race series composite gaskets which aren't exactly recommended for use with boost and a set of arp head studs. Is there a decent gasket set that you guys could recommend I try?

Keep in mind I want to stay away from cometics as I have tried a set that supposedly fitted the LN3 but the sections of the gaskets that met the inlet manifold were incorrect and there wasn't enough coolant passages in the gaskets themselves.

Any help is much appreciated

Thats really helpful....
Yeah it was actually. Your engine and the questions have nothing to do with our 3.8 LC2 powered turbo Buicks, so I doubt you will get many answers. Why don't you try the 3800 supercharged tech forum on this board, you may get better results

Actually no it wasn't. Telling me it is the wrong forum didn't help me at all but your post on the other hand did because you told me where to look. So thankyou. :)
