I bought a drain plug kit from NAPA and need to know if there is a specific location to install these? It is a stock pan on a 200r4.

Is there anything else special that should be done when installing these?

C'mon guys, is this that dumb of a question?

There must have been many of these installed. Thanks

I was hoping someone would have answered by now. I too have a plug kit and want to install it today...

I put mine in the angled place at the rear of the pan that is about 2"X5", and a little lower than its center. It doesn't drain the pan completely, but it is better than no drain. I made mine from a used Chevy oil pan plug and a 1/2"NF jam nut that I spot welded inside the pan. The plug was free, the nut was under $.50. :)
