I've seen how good racing type wheels look on GNs, but I might go another route. I was thinking of a nice chrome 16x8 wheel. I couldn't find anything at the local tire and wheel store to fit my car. I posted here because I wanted to know the offset and backspacing and such for a 16x8 wheel. I found a few I liked at the store and was wondering if they made adaptors to mount those rims on our cars? If I have to go the racing look I guess I will. The guy said he could get Tel-stars or Convo Pros. Tel-stars are chrome and very easily cleaned but I like the Convos better. They are much harder to keep clean and he told me they tend to fade over time. If any of you guys have pix of nice looking chrome rims on your car please post here or e-mail me. Thanks.

did you try tirerack.com?
you can select from whats out there and you can veiw them on your car in various rim sizes .

You won't have any problem with a 4" backspace. I have 16" IROC wheels my car. Can be seen in the link below.

Progress, that link in your sig shows pix with Convo Pros. Are those the 8.5" wheels out back or the 10" ones you were selling recently?

YEah, those are the 10's. The 8's look 100000x better. The tire fits up under the wheel well perfectly.

Cool, thanks for the info. One last question, are those Convos hard to clean? My car is a daily and I don't want to have to polish these rims every 3 days or so. There's alot of nooks and crannies in those rims.

Anybody who spends precious time cleaning the ribs of Convos needs to get a life. Just let them get black like everybody else does- it adds a nice contrast to the bright metal elsewhere on the wheel.

I was interested in a set of 16's with 225-55-16's all around and found these choices.
Check out the ROH wheels here...
http://www.groupawheels.com/ I liked the Snyper

Currently I am running stock Buick 5 stars and like the overall look and I already had the tires which which made it real affordable.
