Best Place for Rebuild Parts

Where is the best place to get parts for a complete rebuild of my motor? Is there any kits or anything available. Summitt? Jegs? Any vendors. Where should I get the cam, what kinds the best bang for the buck. Its gonna be a street daily driver which i want to run 11's

I suggest you strike up a conversation with Nick Micale, who frequents this board. He can get you steered in the right direction.

You should know that our motors are not at all like small block chevies and the like - trusting your motor to someone who doesn't know the ins and outs of our motors is, ummm, very risky? This knowledge is concentrated among a handful of people/shops scattered across the country.

Finally, the same goes for cams for our motors, there are very definite dos and don'ts that have no relationship to SBCs...

Yeah they are definately not SBC. My dad will be helping me rebuild it. His GN runs 10's and hes rebuilt it several times. I haven't talked to him much lately cause work schedule so thats why im asking questions on here to get a lot of opinions.

Sounds like your Dad's an old pro at it, so you're probably well aware of the dangers of taking a Buick motor to a Chevy guy...
