I actually watched the entire chase live from the beginning and he was doing about 60 + through neighborhoods around 4:30 (right after kids get out for school). It was reported that he had a loaded gun in the car.

They were able to get pretty close shots and it looked like a 6 (single tale pipe) and it had a giant metal wing on the back.
