Whats the best route to run racetronix hot wire, under the car or inside? Do you run the wire through the unside frame?
Thanks,
Michael

I ran my hot wire inside the car. Take the kick panel off on the drivers side and the aluminum door sill strip off and there is a plastic rectangular tube that already has wires in it and put your wire in there, Then take the rear seat out and follow the wires up over the rear wheel well to the trunk. Those are the wires that run to the fuel pump and taillights. Your all set. Good luck.

Nice idea on the in-car install :) . Of course I ran mine under the frame rail, but would do the in-car if I had to do it again. Couple areas to watch out for: 1) keep it as far away from the DS header as possible and 2) up by the front wheel where the frame makes an upward bend, don't run it sharply around that area and ziptie it, or it rubs. How do I know this?

Michael,

Did you get the link to our installation instructions via the email we sent you when you purchased your kit?

Michael,

I did it as Tarey(GN ERGY) did. I beleive it was th easiest and did not take me but about 30 minutes to do! Jack, he bought the kit used from me. I guess I should have sent him the instructions, but I think they got lost or canned!:D

Hey Jack! nice product. Hey Gary, got the fuel pump in an hour, a record for me.
Thanks for all the responses! MY REAL QUESTION IS: If I run this setup inside, do I run the end of the wire that goes to the alternator through the speedo grommet. After I run the other end to the trunk, do I drill a hole through the trunk to get the relay to the connector for the trunk? Is there another route through the trunk that I am not seeing?

IMO you should run the cable under the car as that is what is was designed for. If it is secured properly with the wire ties provided there should be no issues and the harness will last for the life of the car.

If you do not get the link to the instructions, email me and I will send it to you.

I ran the wire thru the hole in the firewall as you described and drilled a hole near the other wires in the trunk. I cut a piece of vacumn hose and put the wire thru it so it wont get cut.

I ran mine inside the hollow frame rail where it goes over the rear wheel and along the brake line by the firewall. Then routed it behind the junk on the driver's side fender, up past the carbon canister and followed the A/C lines back to the alternator area. Used up the whole harness length, no extra. Looks good, too. Nice kit!
