I know i know im a bad photographer
Some still blurry but better then old pics with cell phone lol
what do you guys think

Anthony

well..I would think you are choking that PT60 out bigtime with that wastegate elbow...but I sure would like to know where you got that pretty new wastegate????

Can i get some pics of where you ran the pipeing through the core support? Also what pipe size did you use 2"?

Thanks, Dan

im about ****ing fed up with that goddamn turbo to intake adapter, my friend has a vendor account at a local shop and gets intercoolers at cost, sounds like i'm about to use my spearco adapter and put a front mount on my piece.

The piping is 2.5 all the way to a 2.5 elbow that is welded to the intake.
The wastegate is is a poston heavy duty adjustable that i modded to fit right.
As for the 60 being choked up it has to be i would love to get the 3 inch thdp and mod it to work but funds are short. Does anyone know where to get something to let this thing breathe... it really is a beast and i cant imagine what a 3inch thdp style would do for it

anthony

ps ill get some clearer pics ...aslo with the routing into the core support

No no no..not the actuator...the elbow...where did you get the brand new elbow....

oh im sorry, The elbow is from my hotair turbo that i had bought rebuilt from postons when i was new to the buick world

sorry i was tryin to answer everyones questions i didnt read yours correctly

Anthony

nice
yours seems pretty close to mine except i made a js style intake.
what does it run in the quarter?
mine runs lean right now my 42.5# cant keep up with my te60 :(
how do your 50#'s do with the turbo or are you wishin you used 55#'s 60#'s with yours?
im tryin to decide between 55# or 60# injectors.

keith

I like the 50s they have been great for me.... precison turbo also told me they were a great match for the turbo and that they wont cause any drivablity problems. I havent taken it to the track yet due to my school and work schedule, but im hoping for an eleven second car which it might be. My hotair setup ran high twelves ocasionally and low thirteens consistanly on the stock turbo. Now that i have a 87 computer and scanmaster the car is like a bullet due to the fact it is tuned 10x beter than my hotair wasand i found alot of hiddne problems. I Wont know til i go lol but i have raced my step dads mid to high eleven second 87 and took him by a car or two while only running 18 psi i cant wait to see what happens but im really trying to get my hands on a 3inch dp before i take it to the track.

ill try and get those pics today lol

Anthony

Atr up pipe and atr 2.5 dp sprayed with high heat ceramic paint as far as the Pics go i was to busy to snap them today but i can tell that i bent the lip on the lower rad support and moved it foward an inch and then i had to cut a section out on both sides for the pipes to fit.

what front mount is that ?? ,and id love to see more pics..

thats a clean engine bay in that hot air.. nice job man !!

Thanks ....The intercooler is a precison intercooler i got it from a friend of mine its a universal one with a 4 inch core

more pics to come

Anthony

too bad it has an intercooler!!!! lol...j/k.....It looks really, really nice! As per a DP, you gotta call keith Mease and see if you can get a special DP from him...It cost big $$$, but dude, it is totally worth it.... As I understand it, he is not interested in the hot air cars anymore, but I am sure you can work out a deal of some kind!!!!!

that is a huge FMIC!!! I got a small one on my IC car...My twin bro's car is staying stock though, no IC for our Hot Air car..... We are going for low 12's with a decent set-up, so I gotta wait and see what is next... as usual, need the $$$$....

Anyway, awesome pics!!!

John

Was wondering if you could get a good picture of how the throttle body is mounted. Did you have to make a bracket? I am Very interested in a similar setup on my 85. I currently have the mods in my sig but am yet to install my alky kit.
