I have a set of 235/60/15's on 87 GN wheels. They look real nice and dont have any rubbing issues. If you want I will take some pics and post them. Let me know.

With the 28" rears, you might consider a taller tire in front unless you want a big rake with the 26s in front. I run 205/75s (27.1") on a 6" rim, so if you went with the 235s you would need 235/65s for 27" tall. I just put the MT DRs on myself and am getting good traction. I would think you need an 8" rim for the 275/60s and around 4" backspacing, meaning you might need some wheel spacers.

guy's thanks for the help and the pic's . Tim i think your right going with the 235/60/15 is the way to go , with the 275/60/15 out back will be alot better. the reason why i'm sticking with the stock rim size is that i don't want to mess with the factory lip on my car there really nice and don't want to do that to a gn , my friend has a turbo t with 275/60/15 on his stock rear rim's and doesn't hit the lip , thats what i'm looking for . thanks again for the help buying the tire's tommorow. :D

I've noticed a lot of aftermarket wheels don't have 4" bs, but I run a couple types of Centerlines that have the 4" bs, in case you ever go with a 15x8. One of the parts guys on the board widens the stock GN rim to 8" also.

YEAH BRIAN WEAVER MAKES THEM WIDER YOU THINK WITH THAT BACKSPACING 4 INCH THAT I WONT NEED TO TOUCH THE LIP ?

It might be real close, but I have my fender lip cut. You don't have to cut all the way to the bottom, so the cut is not noticeable. I can count which fender screw the cuts begin and end if you do that. The cut is also about half the thinkness/width of the lip because the fender and weld is about in the middle. I used a 1/32 inch cutoff wheel and then some satin black rustoleum paint and foam brush on the cut edge.
