There are is a thread going about the powerstroke VS cottons and PTE and was wondering how large a turbo or what volume can the PS cooler handle? would a 72-74Q trim be to big? Im building a hybrid and have alot of room. Im not sure going with a buick kit would be usefull unless I can just buy a core no plumbing. Anyone runnning a stage engine with a PS?

I dont see a problem

the car with the t/a motor in it has a powerstroke i/c

and I'll have a powerstroke in a stage car once engines done

Stock powerstroke blower is 80mm. Can be pushed to 25lbs without defueling by pcm. There is an available 88mm for it. Some guys have pushed 30+lbs with some MAP mods.

Powerstroke

We are running a powerstroke intercooler on our stage two with a 72mm turbo. If we can get the ATR headers to stop leaking we might be able to try more than 24 psi. Running low 10's now with intake air temps in the 120's at the end of a run. Took off the PTE front mount and picked up some boost and lowered intake air temp 30+ degrees. Gotta like that cheap powerstroke intercooler. :)
