Blew the Turbo oil seal

After many many enjoyable miles out of the old girl (162K) I blew the Turbo oil seal the other day. Felt sorry for the cars behind me ....lol.
Car is basically stock, a daily driver, green stripes, punched out cat..Looking for advice on new Turbo buy. Will a TA 49 suit my needs or is there something closer to stock that would suit my needs better. Not looking to break any records, just like kicking a little ass at the stop lights now and then....

My 49 is excellent. The alky REALLY helps on the street & strip. 24-26lbs. on pump gas makes my combo rock. No roll bars so I gotta cool it at the track "a little." 49 is an exc. turbo, yet, I only have this to compare to the stocker. Good choice. Dave

awwwhhh yes the ol " My oil seal just went out on my turbo honey". I used this same line on my wife. Sounds like it's time to upgrade to a TA-49. This will be all the turbo you will need for quite a long time. I have a TA-48 which is basically the same thing however the compressor map is just slightly different.
