OK--i know some don't like the bright look----i do.
I know a couple of people who will get a kick out of this.I finally have everything to re-assemble.I will probably put a link in the lounge when i am done------------just thought i would post some pics of what i have done and what i have left to put on.

parts

Who did the coating on the parts? i like the headers whey are nice, who did them did a good job.
 
Is that coating are did you get some of that stuff chromed.... looks good .
 
The downpipe,headers,turbo housings were coated here:::

The valve covers and breathers and turbo cover and some misc. brackets are chrome.

Can't wait to get it back together.

According to the website, the 2000 degree F. coating only comes in satin black. Just curious if the headers are going to change color or burn off.
They sure look good for now.

Yes--i expect the headers to dull over time--which is actually what i want.There will be enough shine under the hood----I expect it to settle into a polished aluminum look.
It is the same process that Race Jace used in this thread:::

If it has held up good enough under the conditions that he puts his car through---i think i will be OK.I drive my car less than 1k a year.

The process was cheap enough --that if it lasts 5-6 years--i will be happy.

OMG that makes my eyes hurt! you should have put a warning up to put sun glasses on before looking! :mad: :biggrin: I always wondered what kind of person would do that to a BLACK gn, well now I guess we know. :D

PS: is that some of the donated parts you get that Lee don't know about? :confused: :eek:
