I was just wondering if any one has used one of these before? I just got one for my buick and it did not come with any installation instructions. I asume it must tie into a vacume source, would it work to cut it into the brakes vacume,6-8 inches from the booster? And what is the bolt and alan head doing on top, is that for adjustment? I thought that it was just to bleed the un-used air before it reached the throttle body,by way of vacume opening the valve. any help would be appreciated. thanks

I'm looking at the TiAl 50mm BOV. It is apparently not adjustable since you have to specify the spring pressure...7 to 11 psi is the range of available springs. At first glance, I would think the 7 psi would be best to get the valve open quick but that converts to 14" of Hg so would the valve open during normal deceleration when vacuum could exceed 14" of Hg? Guess I need to determine max vacuum and pick a spring with higher vacuum. Anyone got any thoughts or experience with the TiAl BOV?

tial makes one bigger than that. I've got a friend with a DSM running mid 20lb boost range with one of them. Some of the models with a spring you can adjust...some you can't.
