I got mine from Bruce. I think I got six for $100.00 not in a kit, just seperates.

Nobody

is a direct distributor for Raybestos. They will not allow it.
I KNOW this as I did alot of R&D with Frank Slocum and the Raybestos team. We were one of the first to test blue plates for Raybestos back in the late 80's. We were sent product and dictated to how to abuse them and what they wanted tested. I still have alot of the results somewhere. Slocum took most of it. You may have a good deal on them but direct.... no. I purchase them 200 at a time.




AND I got the first 100 NEW bands from Alto today. Solid anchor on apply side. They are HERE!!!!!!!!!!!

I have no interest in what you pay for anything.
I just said I buy them 200 at a time.
And I talk to Frank on a regular basis and was told of the system years ago. I do not care to know anything about your buisness, in any way , shape , or form.
Chris, it is your buisness and I don't have any desire to interfere.
And BTW....... I DO KNOW Everything...... The neighbors cat is named Everything. ( He did it so he could say he had everything in his life. Long story good joke tho.)

Well dont feel bad you didnt start it.

If you've been around long you'd realize this board would not be where it is today if it wasent for Bruce.

Bruce welcomes other tranny guys to come on and help out and sell their parts but when someone starts trying to mke it look as their parts are better than someone elses it shows no respect to the time and efford that the others have in the parts they offer.

I'm not about to say someone elses parts are better but I will say that noone out there has more time , money , and research in 200 4r's than Bruce does.

Yes you may have to pay a little more for some of Bruces parts but you get what you pay for with the durability testing that goes into each of the parts that Bruce has developed .

In the few years that I have been around this board and aware of the parts that Bruce offers I have seen several other comanies try to copy one of his products and some even go as far as to use the old PTS initials on their products to try and pass them off as something they may look like but cannot match in quality.

Look at it as this tranny forum is Bruces web site and he welcomes others to advertise and sell products on here and alot of the time recomends you to deal with someone else that he knows will do you right instead of being greedy and acting as if there Is noone else but him that can help you.

enough for now I think that will help explain a little of whats going on if you read thru some of the post in other threads and this one you will find greed or the I'm better attitude in some peoples post.

I think I need to clear up a misunderstanding. I think my comments were understood by some to be a flame against one or more other tranny experts.

They were not! I was merely voicing my VERY STRONG support for Bruce and his opperations. NOT dising anyone else.

Coming from Southern CA I have gotten many of my parts from Bruce, and had the work done at DRW Transmissions in Santee.

I know these folks, respect them and will support them till hell freezes over.

So, if it was understood as speaking out against someone else, I was not, and therefore apologize to them and the board.
