body side molding?

was body side molding installed at the factory or dealer installed? is it listed as a code on the trunk tag? mine is the stick on type and can it be easily removed for a cleaner look?

Yes. Usually the dealer installed molding was the aluminum trim with pop rivets.

If installed from the factory, yes. I can check for the code if you need it.

Yes. Somebody will probably chime in with the exact product but I believe 3m makes a good product for this purpose.

Body Side Molding RPO Codes

Here are the RPO codes for the body side moldings.
B88-All GN and WE4. Solid black
B84-All except GN/WE4. Color insert with chrome mylar edge.
B81-Body side molding delete.Only used with W11/WE2/WE4/W02 codes.
