Bolts for rear springs?

Hey all,

REAAALLY close to putting my body back on the frame, and I'm trying to make sure I got everything covered. Something I did come across recently was a diagram showing a bolt and looks like bushings or washers for rear springs. Anybody know what the deal is? Can't say I remember ever removing any:

no bolts.. no washers.. nothing holding the springs in except the shocks and spring tension... they used bolts and washers in the early A bodies, but stopped sometime in the 67 model year or so..
