Boost Controller Questoin

Hey everyone im lookin into a RJC boost controller, and i was wondering if you have to have a Adj wastgate to use it? I have a 85 with a non adj. wast gate? I have a differetn boost controller but i have heard that these make a big difference. Please lt me know

No you don't need a adjustable wastegate, the controller will adjust the pressure for you. It will keep the waste gate closed untill the boost level is reached before opening the gate. I have one and I like it, good luck in your decision.
