boost creep under WOT

I have been doing some WOT blasts to test for my next track venture and I am getting some boost creep. Stock type adjustable (but "high boost"" style actuator.

It's set for 16 psi, but at the top end of each gear, especially 2 and 3 it moves from 16 to 15, back and forth. Dosen't sound like much but it really feels strange......

Also, different subject.....but has anyone found any advantage to removing one of the screens on the stock MAF?

The pivot on My ATR 3in dpipe hangs up all the time and cause boost variances.
I believe that removeing the screenon the outlet side of maf is the thing to do.

Cracked headers will also do this, at least in some cases.
