Boost gauge hose connection

I am new to the intercooled cars and was wondering where you guys hook the boost gauge up at.On the hot air there was a fitting in the intake that the supplied fittings with the gauge threaded into,do the intercooled cars also have a tapped hole in the intake somewhere?

No tapped hole that I know of. I think most guys tap into the bar sensor on the inside of the pass fender..

Yep thats where i tapped into mine. Seems to work ok.
