Boost Sensor

When running an aftermarket boost gauge, is the boost sensor still supposed to be hooked up to vacuum?

when i intalled my aftermarket boost gauge i used the fron of the intake manifold where that little nipple is at in the front that u just crew off and i didnt unhook anything and readin of boost is fine

That would be a pretty easy location, is it accurate though?

yea it is my vacuum reads accurate it sits at 18 when cars is on and i hita stable 13 psi when i gun it its ez and very acurate lots of guys have that setup
