I've been playing with the boost scalars in the stock chip for 3rd and 4th gear with the idea in mind of running more boost in 1st and 2nd gears.
Unfortunately I've been kind of under the weather for the last few days and haven't been able to go play with the car so I figured I'd try to strike up a bench race here on the board. I was wondering if any of you have tinkered with the boost scalars and if so, what kind of difference have you seen in the level of boost the engine will tolerate in the lower gears?
Same question for those running an electronic boost controller. What have you prgrammed the boost for in each gear? Did you try to optimize the EBC for the maximum boost in each gear for a given octane/timing setting or did you use a "rule of thumb" for setting the curve in your controller?
