Well yesterday the thing was missing terribly. I checked my battery on a hunch and it only had 140 CCA. Got a new battery had my alt tested and it was putting out 14.5. I talked to the alt rebuilder and he said to replace my starter cable. Got a cable and put it on and the old one was very corroded and dark and color. It only had one fit of missing and thats it. But is was also cooler today then yesterday. Yesterday after putting the battery in took it out and never missed a beat till about 4 miles or so when it got good and hot. Then it jus fell on its face. So the miss was alot better today. I dont know it is from something i fixed or just because its cooler today. Now my boost it still vanishing at 12 to 13 when it gets up there. I have the blow off vavle cranked down pretty tight. I don't think thats the prob. I ran just one line from turbo to acutator and it still does it. I took the line completly off the acuator and tighted it up to hold it. It still vanishes. It seems when I get past 3/4 throttle the boost disapeares. Now I wired the wastegate shut and it held, it didn't vanish. But I coulnd't get the throttle to the floor either. I had to light foot it. So maybe it even does it with the gate wired shut. I am out of ideas. I have just about had it with this car. I'm on my 3rd tranny rebuilt by retard and there is metal in the fluid in it. It seems I am having nothing but problems problems problems.

Coilpack, module, plugs, wires, grounds? Is it a dead miss, intermittent miss, or just a studder? If you're running an aftermarket uppipe and downpipe, it's important they get wrapped. I took out 4 alternators in 4 months when I first installed my headers and downpipe. That was when I learned the alternator sucks air from the back, right by the uppipe and blows it out the front.

I have the downpipe cermaic coated and I'm going to get the up pipe done as well. That will cut the temps down. I replaced my starter wire and that was the problem. It was very corroded and was sucking up to much voltage. It hasn't missed a beat since I replaced it. So now that I have that solved its on to my boost problem. I called pt&e today and asked what they think. He suggested making a block off plate for the bov. I did and it didn't change anything. Its back to the boost control I guess. I think the ultimate fix is going to external. He said they sold an HKS $400. Would that to the job. I also can only get my boost as low as 12 psi and I will get knock on that. I have to get it to 10 if I want to run 93. Untill I can afford the propane injection. I am going to have to wait till next year to put in the external. I am going to cut the thdp flange and sell it and going to have a lee tompson style one made for my dp. Can you mount the gate in the pass side crossover so its easier to route the waste back into the lower part of the dp?
