Boost vs. fuel pressure question

If my fuel pressure and fuel strategy is set up for a certain psi of boost at WOT, and my boost never reaches that psi at WOT, does my fuel adjust for that, or will I be running rich at that point.

Depends on what exact chip you are using. With most of my MAF chips, it has a fixed fuel curve after 255gr/sec, so it might be rich if you don't run the boost psi that the chip was designed for.

If using an Extender style chip, it will continue to read airflow and the fuel will move up or down with boost.

Do I need the wideband wired in the system for the extenders to do that?

No, the extenders can read past 255 so they don't have to guess on airflow.
