Boost with a TT chip

Have a quick question. Does boost have to ba adjusted from the wastegate rod when a chip is in the car or does the chip set boost on its own. I have a street chip wich says boost is between 15/17psi and im only showing 13/14. I am confused cause i have a TT race chip that is set to 20psi and without touching the rod it jumps to 20.

Are you using the stock boost solenoid? I belive eric uses the stock solenoid to set the boost. You can adjust it with whatever you want to add boost but I belive the tunning is stopped at your max choice psi on the chip.

This is what I got from talking to eric when I ordered my chip. Correct me if I am wrong.
